New Virus
Sober d. March 8 2004
Sober.d arrives in an e-mail message. The subject reads Microsoft Alert: Please Read! There is a German version of the virus that comes with the subject Microsoft Alert:Bitte Lesen! The message in the text of the e-mail encourages the recipient to open the attachment which is either a zip or exe file. The message claims that the attachment will protect the user from a new version of the My Doom virus. Opening the attachment will not protect the user, it will simply infect their computer with the Sober d. virus.
